Some Top Tips of Blogging Mistakes You Must Avoid

We as humans are not born perfect even sometimes I also do make mistakes. It's great to make mistakes because it's only when you made the mistake will you be able to learn how to solve them and do less of them. I thought of sharing some of my major top 5 mistakes I made when I blog online so that you are aware not to do them too.
1. When Blogging Do Not Use Your Own Symbols Readers Will Not Understand.
I think it's because I love to chat on online chat messenger, I tend to always use symbols like =) or =P in my blogging articles or go on www.profit-pulling-toolbars.com. I discover that what I assume people may understand they see a smiling face to be a whole different thing to someone else on a foreign country. Do try to avoid you any symbols to express expression on your blogs.
2. Spell Check Your Blog Post.
I am seriously very guilty when it comes to this, it is not because I do not know how to do it. But when you have spent an hour more or less on writing the content sometimes it is even more tiring to check the spelling. That is the major reason why you sometimes do see some spelling errors on this blog. I am really sorry on that.
3. Get Someone To Proof Read Your Content.
Another major mistake I always do is my lack of grammar as my level of English is really poor and it is not because English is my 2nd language it is actually my first language. However since I was young, my English has always been very poor but that have not stop me from blogging and making money from it.
You can consider getting local people in your country to hire to do some proof reading on your blog. It will cost you money but I feel in the long run if your blog is able to generate some form of income. Getting a proof reader should be a good investment.
4. Do Not Hard Sell In Your Blog Post.
I was monitoring my blog recently, and I realized when ever I did some form of pitching on my blog and do not give any valuable tips the subscription to the blog would drop or you can visit on www.atoz-about-rss.com. So if you want to avoid that to happen, you will require to give more value to your readers to learn more tips from you and have your products at the end of the post. To make it more effective try to make your affiliate links to look as if it's just a recommendation.
5. Do Not Go Off Topic On Your Blog.
Because what you are reading is a blog and you can virtually talk about almost anything on your blog, I would not recommend you talk too much on your personal stories but instead should be giving more valuable advice so that people can learn more from you. As you give more valuable advice to your readers the more they would want to come back for more.

Joint Venture Tips for Your Blogs!

Find someone that has a blog related to your topic. Offer to blog about their blog if they will blog about yours. In doing this, you'll both be swapping blog readers that you may have not been able to reach otherwise. Do this with several different people that have blogs related to your topic and soon you will have a huge blog readership. Endorse a product that belongs to someone else via your blog. Ask them to endorse one of your products in exchange. By doing this both of you will benefit from each others blog visitors. Grab a sheet of paper and a pen, or open your word processing program. Now go to a blog search engine and search for keywords related to your blog or visit www.jointwebventures.com When you find blogs related to your blog, write down (or type) the blog website address, any side notes about the blog, and the contact information of the blog owner,
Now take your list and start emailing each blog owner for a link swap. Get a group of people together that are bloggers. All of you pick one topic that can be profitable either by promoting affiliate products or by Google Adsense revenue. All of you will start blogging about the topic. Take the RSS feeds from each persons blog, and place them on one website. All of you will make reference to this site where the RSS feeds are placed. By doing this you will all share traffic via a group effort. If you know someone that blogs on the same topic that you do, ask for a blog post exchange. Tell them you will write a "guest" blog post for them, if they will do the same. That way both of you will be giving fresh content from a different person to your readers. Adding some variety to your blogs will keep people coming back often. Create an audio blog post (podcast) for a few blogs related to your blog. Make sure to mention your blog in it. Tell the blog owner if they post the audio blog post on their blog, that you will create an audio blog post mentioning their blog for them, and post it to your own blog.
You'll only want to do this with blogs that have a lot of readers because there is a bit more work involved in this tactic you can visit www.joint-venture-guide.com Large businesses actually hire people to blog for them. Not because it's profitable for these big companies but because it lets the outside world knows what's going on with these big companies. This starts to build a trust with the people who read these blogs. Knowing this information, I decided to start a testimonial category on my blog. In doing this, people begin to trust me and see me as an authority figure on the topic I am blogging on. You can also do this by telling people you have started a testimonial category on your blog. Ask them to leave a true testimonial on your blog in exchange for something like a free ebook. If they have a testimonial category on their blog, tell them you will give them a testimonial if they will give you one. Always remember though only give true to heart testimonials.

Get Internet Traffic to Your Blog Website

Everybody has a blog. No matter the topic or discussion someone has got it covered. From online diaries in the mid nineties to becoming one of the foundations of the internet, blogging along with video and social bookmarking is changing not only how we get our information but also the manner in which online business is conducted.

This is why it would be a good idea for you incorporate blogging into your overall internet marketing plan or go on www.blog-and-ping.com. What blogging can do very effectively is to build your target markets and bring you a steady flow of internet traffic and customers.

Blogs are free and easy to run. Just go to Blogger or Wordpress.com, signup and start posting. Try to start out posting on a daily basis or at least a three to four times a week then use these tips to get traffic to your blog

Email Marketing List

In a recent survey, 100% of online users say they communicate using email. This is a good way to send messages to your opt in email list with links going back to your blog web site. Let them know you've posted a new article or video on your blog. Use snippets or summaries to entice people to click on the link and get further information. The more times people on your list see your blog the more they will get to know you and give a second look to some products or services you maybe offering.

In addition you can gain more viewers to your blog by giving away a subscription along with free report. Advertise in ezine publications that target your niche as well as forums and classified ad sites like US Free Ads.

Free RSS Feed

Rich Site Summary also known as Really Simple Syndication is the process of delivering constantly updated content to your blog by pacing a block of code (known as a feed) on your webpages. In our fast paced information age, RSS fits perfectly. It allows your visitors to stay up to date on any new information you've added to your blog without necessarily having to visit every page on your blog. Instead they view a window that list the headlines followed by a quick summary of what each article is about.

Having a free RSS feed accomplishes two things besides getting more site traffic. First since the content is updated frequently it keeps the search engines coming back to your site and crawling for the new information. Second it can increase your visibility among your blog visitors. This is important because while they may not visit your blog everyday, providing a feed to your subscribers is a good way to for them to stay in touch.

Network

A blog network is a compilation of blogs under a sole domain or company name. Some web visitors take comfort in clicking a link that takes them to different bloggers who cover the same topic or go on www.profit-pulling-toolbars.com. This is also an excellent way to get free advertisement and free web traffic to your site since people who visit the network will invariably be exposed to your blog.

You can also submit to blog directories or just ask your readers to give you feedback on something you posted (the search engines view comments as updating content on your blog). No matter which technique you choose, blogging offers a new way to connect with your readers. Simple, unfiltered and a perfect fit for today's internet, blogging is a smart resource to have in your internet marketing online tool kit.

3 Mistakes That Can Spell the End of Your Blog

Who would have think it? Blogging, started out in 1994 as random musings by a handful of internet users who considered them nothing more than online diaries. Not anymore. Blogging is not only commonplace but it can also be a key component in online business success.

Why has it become such a phenomenon? No doubt convenience plays a major role. Blogs are easy to set up and use. Also unlike traditional website building, blogs require no technical expertise which means no fooling around with HTML code and the like.

But more than anything blogging gives people a voice to be heard. You can post some thoughts on any topic you wish and instantly have a worldwide audience to read it or go on www.your-own-blog.com. If they agree or disagree they can let you know it by providing comments on your blog. Not only is this more interactive that the traditional website but search engines look at comments on your blog as fresh content.

However like everything else in life, there is a flip side. To make blogging work for you there are some things you need to keep in mind.

1. Respect for Your Audience

You want as many people in your targeted niche (and beyond) to check out your blog so do your best to avoid offending them. For instance you may have a blog about politics. This is a good way to attract an audience and have spirited discussions and debates. The key is to make sure that you don't cross the line. It's easy in a politically charged atmosphere to let your emotions get the better of you. As the person who runs the blog you must keep a check on what's happening. Don't let a first-class debate collapse into name-calling and verbal abuse. By losing control of their emotions and or their comment board, a number of bloggers have wound up losing a potential loyal audience.

2. The Over Design

There are many blog layouts to choose from but do not overdo it. Your priority should always be to provide good unique content to your audience. The blog design should complement your writing not compete with it. Your text should also be clearly readable. Don't put your content on a background that's going to strain the eyes of your blog visitors. If you want to experiment fine but you can never go wrong by starting out with a basic design.

3. Where Have You Been?

Blogging is easy but one thing that separates a good blog from the rest of the pack is how often you post information on your blog. You may have been on a couple of discussion forums and heard people say they do not post to their blog if they have nothing to say. That's all well and good but what predictably happens is the amount of time between having something to say gets longer and longer. They start out with great enthusiasm and post daily, than every few days, followed by once a week which then turns into a couple times a month.

This is not going to work. People want information. You should post at least three times a week. Write the content yourself or borrow it from others (just make sure to give them credit). You can write a short blurb about an article you saw online and then give the link to your readers so they can check it out or visit on www.atoz-about-rss.com. The point is to not let your blog sit idle for long periods of time. That's a good way to lose an audience hungry for information. It also doesn't help you with the search engines which love blogs that update frequently. Since the majority of your internet traffic will come from places like the Google, Yahoo and MSN it's best to give them what they want.

Blogging is a phenomenon that will continue to grow. While it's effortless to set up and operate never lose sight of the fact that you must respect your audience first while giving them quality frequently updated content in an easy to read format. Welcome to the world of blogging. Enjoy the ride.

Blogging can be a sort of regularly-updating advertisement for your online business!

Most people who are experienced with search engine optimization would know the basic procedure on how to attain a higher Google Page Rank for a website. With most SEO strategies, one can be sure about an increase of about two or three ranks within three months or so, but it doesn't hurt to gun for more. While SEO is quite simple as long as there is intelligent effort, some SEO services cost money. That is money that could be used elsewhere, so one must look for a better alternative before spending actual money for a higher Page Rank.

Contextual link building is one the most effective SEO strategies available. While you can go on and email people about exchanging links with you, there is actually a better way to gain affiliates to your website. One of these good link building ideas that can be utilized to maximize growth is blogging.

Blog About Products and Services

Blogging can be a sort of regularly-updating advertisement for your online business. It provides news and updates on your products and services to interested parties. By blogging your day-to-day business activities, potential customers can be certain that they can get them whenever and however they can be made available. Make sure that your blog has RSS so that visitors can subscribe and get regular updates to your blog.

Integrate Your Blog with Your Main Site

If your blog is one with your main website, you can have an easier time in increasing Page Rank as it is quite easy to do so with a blog. Within the first three months, it is entirely possible to gain a Page Rank of 3, so if your main website is integrated to your blog, it can share that Page Rank. By utilizing good SEO procedures, it can be easy.

Post Relevant Content Regularly

Regular updates increase the chances of getting a higher Page Rank as Google pings your site every once in a while. This is absolutely helpful if your blog is integrated to your site, so keep the previous tip in mind. By giving visitors the appropriate information, they will be enticed to revisit your site for reference and other such purposes.

Write Blog Reviews of Other Related Sites

By writing positive reviews and critique of other related sites in your blog, you are giving those sites incentive to support and link your site back. This type of advertisement is a powerful method of link building that can dramatically increase your chances in attaining a higher Page Rank within the shortest amount of time possible.

Combine Blogging with Other SEO Strategies

Blogging alone can give your site more traffic and such by a certain degree, but it alone is not powerful enough. Combine it with other tested search engine optimization methods to get the best effect. Such things like link building, keyword density, meta tagging, submitting sitemaps, and so on can multiply the effect that blogging can give you. If you had integrated your main site with your blog, then it will increase your chances even more.

The latest information on impounded car auctions

If you are on a cheap vehicle hunt, you must have heard about impounded car auctions. Also known as repo or seized car auctions, they keep on gaining fame due to the lowest starting bids around. Ironically, this is, at the same time, what scares many people, who think that a good auto can’t come at a low price.

online auctions

So, are they scams? Definitely not - on the contrary, impounded car auctions are the most reliable and safest of all used auto auctions, because they are held by official government agencies, lending institutions and banks. Here, nobody is trying to cheat you and cash on your wish to save. The more so, as you can see from the starting bids, the vehicles are sold not to make a profit, but rather to simply get rid of them.

You may wonder why the government is not interested in raising the initial price. The answer is obvious: with thousands of cars being impounded every month due to various reasons, there is simply no capability to store and maintain them all. Rather than letting to rust and lose their value day after day, the vehicles are sold at an attractive price.

Impounded car auctions have a good selection of vehicles of different models and years of manufacture. Some rare models as well as luxury cars can occasionally be found here as well. In most cases, the cars are well-maintained, if not nearly new, and you are welcome to inspect them ahead of the auction. History reports and VIN reports are provided too, and you are free to make your own additional research.

However, don’t raise your expectations too high. Impounded car auctions don’t automatically mean that you will drive a posh car for a few hundred bucks at the end of the auction. Although good vehicles can start with a very low bid, the sum will inevitably increase, sometimes very drastically, especially if a lot of bidders are involved. But then, this is what happens at every auction - a highly desirable item will attract extra attention.

antique auctions

Sometimes, to get used to the auction’s pace and feel more confident when making a bid, you need to attend a few auto auctions. With a little time and practice you are bound to learn all the ropes of successful bidding.

To get all the latest information on impounded car auctions in your area along with auction schedules, rules and even partial listings, you can use an online auction directory at a one-time low fee. Undoubtedly, this is the fastest and easiest way to find impounded car auctions for those who are seriously determined to get the cheapest deals around.

Most excellent Expired Domain Auctions.

Have you ever thought of anything to buy without knowing exactly where to go and get it? I honestly believe there is no such thing. In this century anything on earth can be sold and purchased, even Earth itself. If you like competition and bargaining, auctions can give you that kind of pleasure no matter which hamlet you live it; online auctions are open 24 hours a day for anyone willing to take a chance. Domain auctions are very fashionable nowadays; after all, domains sound like the real estate of the internet. People buy domains to drive traffic to their sites and for many other reasons, and you don't have to search for long if there is a certain name you have in mind. Domains expire every other minute because people forget about them or just don't need them anymore so you have a good chance to find what you are looking for in a very short time by only creating an account on one of those websites which organize expired domain auctions. The procedure is piece of cake. As soon as you have created an account in one of these 'marketplaces', you may start searching for thousands of domains available or visit www.auction-o-matics.com
Most of these sites offer a very good advanced search option so you won't waste much time to get to the name that meets your needs. You will be able to see and monitor a significant number of current and future auctions. You may use the automated bidding system that most of these websites provide if you set the system properly, according to your bid limits. In this way, you won't even have to follow the updates; the system will do it for you. However, it is wiser to sit in front of the computer and personally monitor the auction in its final quarter of an hour. Relying on email notification is not recommendable as we all know sometimes emails do not reach their destination because of errors beyond control. Some websites feature not only available auctions, but also auctions that will soon be available, so you may increase the chance to find the very domain you desire. As soon as you have chosen the domain names that you want to purchase, you will add them to your cart and select the bidding limits that you find appropriate you can visit www.auctions-profits.com
It is as simple as that; no time wasted, sweat or headaches. Sometimes you may be surprised to see that you are the only bidder. In that case, you will automatically win the auction and, what is more, you will get it for the minimum bid price listed. Yet, there are many people who prefer the challenge of tight competition and will not take much delight in winning automatically for lack of competitors. So, what you need is a valid card to pay in case you win the auction. Sometimes there is an imposed time limit within which to pay for the domain but that doesn't sound like a problem; if you have decided to place a bid for a domain name it means you are willing to pay. The best part for auctions fans is the three-day period in which the auction is open. You get email notifications if you are outbid so that you can place a better bid and not lose the domain you are after. Besides the fun that expired domain auctions offers, you are likely to obtain exactly what you need in the most comfortable manner, sitting in your computer chair.

Blog on how to increase blog traffic

Have you ever wondered what exactly is up with traffic? This informative report can give you an insight into everything you've ever wanted to know about traffic.

Truthfully, the only difference between you and traffic experts is time. If you'll invest a little more time in reading, you'll be that much nearer to expert status when it comes to traffic.

Analyzing your blog traffic statistics can be an invaluable tool for a number of different reasons. But before you can make full use of this tool, you need to understand how to interpret the data.

Most blog hosting companies will provide you with basic blog traffic information that you then have to interpret and make pertinent use of. However, the data you receive from your host company can be overwhelming if you don't understand how to apply it to your particular business and blog site or you can visit www.atoz-rss.com. Let's start by examining the most basic data â the average visitors to your site on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

These figures are the most accurate measure of your blog site's activity. It would appear on the surface that the more traffic you see recorded, the better you can assume your blog site is doing, but this is an inaccurate perception. You must also look at the behavior of your visitors once they come to your blog site to accurately gauge the effectiveness of your site.

There is often a great misconception about what is commonly known as "hits" and what is really effective, quality traffic to your site. Hits simply mean the number of information requests received by the server. If you think about the fact that a hit can simply equate to the number of graphics per page, you will get an idea of how overblown the concept of hits can be. For example, if your homepage has 15 graphics on it, the server records this as 15 hits, when in reality we are talking about a single visitor checking out a single page on your site. As you can see, hits are not useful in analyzing your blog site traffic.

The more visitors that come to your blog site, the more accurate your interpretation will become. The greater the traffic is to your blog site, the more precise your analysis will be of overall trends in visitor behavior. The smaller the number of visitors, the more a few anomalous visitors can distort the analysis.

The aim is to use the blog traffic statistics to figure out how well or how poorly your site is working for your visitors. One way to determine this is to find out how long on average your visitors spend on your site. If the time spent is relatively brief, it usually indicates an underlying problem. Then the challenge is to figure out what that problem is.

It could be that your keywords are directing the wrong type of visitors to your blog site, or that your graphics are confusing or intimidating, causing the visitor to exit rapidly. Use the knowledge of how much time visitors are spending on your site to pinpoint specific problems, and after you fix those problems, continue to use time spent as a gauge of how effective your fix has been.

Additionally, blog traffic stats can help you determine effective and ineffective areas of your blog site. If you have a page that you believe is important, but visitors are exiting it rapidly, that page needs attention. You could, for example, consider improving the link to this page by making the link more noticeable and enticing, or you could improve the look of the page or the ease that your visitors can access the necessary information on that page.

If, on the other hand, you notice that visitors are spending a lot of time on pages that you think are less important, you might consider moving some of your sales copy and marketing focus to that particular page.

As you can see, these statistics will reveal vital information about the effectiveness of individual pages, and visitor habits and motivation. This is essential information to any successful Internet marketing campaign.

Your blog site undoubtedly has exit pages, such as a final order or contact form. This is a page you can expect your visitor to exit rapidly. However, not every visitor to your site is going to find exactly what he or she is looking for, so statistics may show you a number of different exit pages. This is normal unless you notice a exit trend on a particular page that is not intended as an exit page. In the case that a significant percentage of visitors are exiting your blog site on a page not designed for that purpose, you must closely examine that particular page to discern what the problem is. Once you pinpoint potential weaknesses on that page, minor modifications in content or graphic may have a significant impact on the keeping visitors moving through your site instead of exiting at the wrong page.

After you have analyzed your visitor statistics, it's time to turn to your keywords and phrases. Notice if particular keywords are directing a specific type of visitor to your site. The more targeted the visitor - meaning that they find what they are looking for on your site, and even better, fill out your contact form or make a purchase – the more valuable that keyword is.

However, if you find a large number of visitors are being directed - or should I say misdirected - to your site by a particular keyword or phrase, that keyword demands adjustment for more details visit on www.your-own-blog.com. Keywords are vital to bringing quality visitors to your site who are ready to do business with you. Close analysis of the keywords your visitors are using to find your site will give you a vital understanding of your visitor's needs and motivations.

Finally, if you notice that users are finding your blog site by typing in your company name, break open the champagne! It means you have achieved a significant level of brand recognition, and this is a sure sign of burgeoning success.

So now you know a little bit about traffic. Even if you don't know everything, you've done something worthwhile: you've expanded your knowledge.

Your Blog Optimization for Profit - Part 3

In Part 2 of this series, we talked about how getting high quality links from authoritative websites in your field can boost your search engine rankings. This time, we are going to explore further into linking strategies and how to determine and obtain "high quality" links. We are also going to briefly explain the much promoted PageRank system used by the major Search Engines.

First, examine a regular link. A link is nothing more than a piece of text. It is what appears in your address bar at the top of the browser you are using right now or you can visit www.atoz-about-rss.com. It can also be an image that links to your blog but, for our example, we are using text.

Some of the factors that matter most are:

1) the website location which the link takes you to.

2) The actual text of the link. What does the link tell the Search Engines?

3) The PageRank of the page on which the link takes a Search Engine to.

For learning purposes you need to understand this information.

You naturally want the link to take the Search Engines to your blog but to which page of your blog? Do you want to link to an individual post or to your blog home page?

Since your blog should be a constantly updated website, it is always wise to point to your main page instead of individual posts because individual posts tend to be very time-sensitive.

One of my blogs, on News and Commentary, is a good example of this. Usually posts are outdated within hours or days of posting. The Search Engines will still list some of your posts based on the keywords. Remember Part 2 of this series? If you have not read the earlier parts of this series, click the link in the Author Box below.

The text of the link also affects your rankings for a certain keyword.

Continuing with our example from Parts 1 and 2 of this series, your blog is about "technological gadgets". Suppose there is another site that has a home page link that says "Miss USA Pageant" in it and on their site is a link back to your blog. This would not make much sense, right? You only want links to your site that contain the terms "technological" or "gadget" to greatly boost your rankings for those keywords. You see, links from other similar sites with your keywords is what the search engines read. The more accurate the keywords of the sites linking to you, the better you will rank in the search engines. Hence, it is essential to put some thought to requesting links from other web masters as you want them to link to your blog with appropriate keywords.

Now, about PageRank. We will use Google as an example. Page Rank (or PR) is basically a scale set by Google to measure the popularity of websites.

It is claimed that the higher the PageRank of a certain website, the more frequent the Search Engine robots will visit the website to index it. It is also claimed that the PageRank of a page will also help it to rank higher in search engine results. In short, having a high PageRank might bring you many benefits if you can get to the top.

Now, there is much debate among web masters about PageRank. Some web masters say it really does not make much difference. They are half right. Page Rank, in itself, is not the key. The actual power of search engines to affect your blog's visibility is in the keywords of your blog.

When people do a search, using your keywords, you will automatically get a high PageRank if your keyword combination is unique, a low-competition keyword or phrase, and matches what the surfer types into the Search Engine box.

In other words, targeting keywords is more important because your site will automatically go onto the first page the surfer sees if the keywords match what they are looking for. Again, see Parts 1 and 2 of this series.

Remember this: Page Rank is only a side effect of our real goal which is to get people onto your blog. People do not search according to Page Rank they search with keywords they type into the search box. If your keywords are poorly thought out you will not rank at all.

For example, search any keywords you like. What do you get? The top web sites with those keywords in the title and/or description of their sites. It is called marketing you can find people looking for every topic, by keywords, on the Web. When you have the information they are seeking you will be on the first or second page of search engine results.

Your new blog will start out with no PageRank at all. Once the search engine robots find your blog, through links on other sites, or through articles you post in Article Directories (see Part 4 of this series), your blog will start gaining PageRank or go on www.profit-pulling-toolbars.com. Then, depending on the PageRank (keywords) of the referring page, your blog PageRank will climb even more. The referring page is the website/blog that is linking back to your blog. Search engines will find your link on their referring page and follow it back to your blog. Simple, eh?

Getting high-quality links to your blog will help direct targeted visitors to your blog, who are interested in your niche, thus enabling Search Engines to find and index your blog and ultimately rank you higher in search engine results.

Making it To the Top of the Search Engine Heap

While most search engine optimization is carefully calculated and planned for, more than one site has "accidently" found itself on the top of the heap? How did they do it? A few lucky mistakes- which you can do yourself!

Use the success of others to your advantage.

1. Participate on their discussion boards. You could post questions, answer other peoples questions, and join in on conversations. Just include your signature file and link at the end of your messages. This is a great way to build link popularity for your website.

2. Ask the site owner if they would like a free ebook to giveaway to their visitors. You could have them link to your web site or include your ad in the free ebook.

3. Submit content to their web site. You could write articles for their site and include your resource box and link at the end of the article. If they publish it, you'll indirectly be at the top of the search engines and your site's link popularity will soar!

4. Write an excellent article review of their web site, products or services. Then publish the review on your web site. E-mail the web site owner and tell him or her about it. They may link to your web site so their visitors read it.

5. Ask the owner of the web site if they would want to trade advertising. If you don't get as much traffic as they do, you could throw in some extra incentives.

6. Propose a cross promotion deal with the site. You both could promote each others products or services together in one package deal. This means a mention and link back to your web site.

7. Give the web site a testimonial for their product or service. Include a little text link for your web site with the testimonial. You never know; it could end up on their ad copy!

8. Post your advertisement on their free classified ad section on their web site. You want to be sure you have an attractive headline so they will read your ad.

9. Post your text link on their free-for-all links page. You want to go back and post your link regularly so it stays towards the top.

10. Sign their guest book and leave comments. You could leave a short compliment about their site on their guest book. Make sure to include your signature file and link at the end of your message so that you can get traffic back.

The Websites has their own rules for Links.

The more links you have to your site (AKA backlinks), the higher listing you have with search engines. It also brings you more traffic. You can also exchange links with another site. This is known as a 2 way link. A one way link is better though. You can submit your link to directories to get one way links. People can go to these thousands of directories and add their link to it.

Each of these websites has their own rules. Many of them offer 3 choices. You send them your information (add link or submit link) and they look it over and decide whether to accept it. One choice is a free submission. Some sites may say that with this choice it may take up to 6 months before they review your site. These groups want you to create links back to them so they can becoe bigger. When you do this then you are submitting a reciprocal link. This is a higher priority and it gets reviewed sooner than the other links and has other perks.

Then there is the paid for link called possibly a featured link. This type of link gets looked at the soonest and you get other perks like being able to submit other pages of your website in addition to the main page. Submitting these links to so many sites can take a lot of work. Some sites offer to do it for you if you pay them. So that is something you can try.

A way of getting two way links is by exchanging links. You can just look for sites that you like and ask them if the want to exchange links. There are also places that help you to do this. They have many members who are looking to do this and they can request you or you can request them through the website to exchange links. I have been using one of these for 2 years. I have a website with Natural Cures for Cancer.

With the group I use, if a site requests a link from you, they have to put up the link first. Then they check it and notify you that it was done and for you to do the same. Many of these sites will put your link on a page that is not connected to their website so no one will ever see it. The exchange group can check that the link is on the page but the page might not be connected to the website which means it does you no good. So you have to check this. There are many unscrupulous people on the internet.

When it comes to links to your website there is a difference of how much it helps you. The Google page rank is a way to measure how much a link from that site helps you. The larger this number is, the better it is. The numbers are from 0 to 10. Some experts tell you not to exchange links with a site that has a PR of 0. If it is a bad site, it could hurt you to have a link to it. Some say not to exchange links with a site that has a PR lower than yours.

What Is Three-Way Linking All About?

The talk over linking and the value it has to your website has intensified over the past few years with no one truly being able to tell which is most efficient. There are one way links, two way links and three way links, but the only people that honestly know which is best for you is Google. The problem is that Google has taken it upon themselves to keep everyone in the dark on this.

The newest form of back links to come about is three way linking. In simplest terms, three way linking is when Site A links to Site B, Site B links to Site C and Site C links to Site A. The problem with getting back links using this method is that you have to be able to trust everyone that links with you.

With two way links, you have to be able to trust one person and hope that they will truthfully put your link on their site. With three way links there are more people to trust with that much more of a chance that someone will try to cheat you. If one person breaks the chain and cheats you out of your rightful link, the whole circle is ruined.

It doesn’t take a great amount of time or effort to get one or two way links, but it can become a little more confusing with three way links. The reason being is that there is more to calculate and record to make sure your links are being placed on other people’s websites. If you get a number of different three way links going, it becomes almost impossible to keep track.

Although it isn’t too difficult, the most time consuming part is initiating the trade. You have to research and find your qualified candidates to be involved in the exchange and then contact them. Once you contact them, you will probably have to explain why a three way link exchange will be more beneficial than a simple two way link exchange. Because of this, be prepared to explain with details and statistics about how you all will benefit.

After that, you may want to consider bringing up the trust factor. While it isn’t the end of the world if you get cheated out of a back link, it can be frustrating to go through the entire process only to find out that you don’t even have a link pointing back to you. If you can bring up the trust factor without threatening anybody, you will have a better chance at building an efficient three way link exchange.

Three way links can be a great way to build back links for your website. The only risk is that there are more chances for a website to back out or cheat you from a link. As long as you research and find trustworthy people, three way links can be extremely beneficial for your website.

Link Exchange Tips

Link exchange is one of the most popular ways how to get links pointed to your website absolutely for free. To get the best possible results this marketing technique must be done effective. In this article you will learn how to exchange as many links as possible in short period of the time and how to ensure they come from quality websites.

First, you should know there are two basic types of link exchange - normal and triangular. For example, if site A links to site B and site B back to site A, it is normal link exchange. This technique is very easy to handle (you do not need to run any additional website) and still very popular. In last years, many webmasters started to use triangular link exchange. It means that site A links to site B and site B ldoes not link back to site A but to site C. The reason why some site owners prefer this way is the fact google can recognize exchanged links and gives them lower value.

When you decide which type of link exchange are you going to use you should create a page where you will place partners links. This page should be one or max. 2 clicks from your home page. When you create it, you should start to google for websites related to yours.

First, ensure you have found quality website. The site should be indexed by google, have some pagerank and be related to yours. For example, if you run web hosting company you should search for hosting directories, seo companies, web designers and not for pet sites. The partners site should not contain links to adult or casino sites to avoid bad neighborhood.

When you find some site where you want to have your link, follow these steps:
1. Link to other site from your link page first. Sometimes you will find HTML code with the anchor text and description on partners website.
2. Send an email to website owner with the location of his link. Explain why do you like his website and that both of you will profit from the link exchange.
3. If the site owner put your link online store the URL in excel sheet. Later you will need to check if your link exists on the partner site.
4. In case you will get no response in one or two weeks try to send friendly reminder. It may happen the other party is very busy but still want to accept your offer.
5. If the site owner does not respond simply remove the link.
6. Repeat steps 1 - 5.

Contacting other webmasters is only one of possible ways how to run link exchange. You can also let others to contact you. How to do that?
1. Put on your link page HTML code which you want others to use on their websites.
2. Advertise this page on webmaster forums (if allowed by forum rules).
3. People will come to your website, link first to you and then ask you for linking back.

This solution has one big advantage -- you will get additional backlinks from the forums where you advertise. You can also try free classifieds and PPC advertising to drive link partners to your website.

Using A Web Directory And A Link Directory As A One-Two Punch

If you talk to them in an official capacity they think of themselves are being the most innovative and the most creative in spite of the fact that television and print advertising nowadays is at an all time low in terms of ingenuity. However, if you were to corner these people in a social situation off the record and ask them the same questions, most of them would admit that they stuff they do does not hold a candle to their online counterparts and this is where both the web directory and the link directory come into play.

Many people use the terms web directory and link directory interchangeably and this is where a lot of confusion comes into the picture, but the basic difference is that a web directory may link to other sites, but it may also have other content as well whereas a link directory is definitely going to be about links and nothing but links. As an innovative and creative online marketer however, both the web directory and the link directory have quite a bit to offer to your marketing campaign. If you utilize both of these marketing techniques and then combine them into a one-two punch, you will find the results to be quite spectacular indeed.

This one-two punch strategy will start with the link directory as in most cases that will be the easier directory to handle. You start the first part of the one-two punch by submitting your website URL to a link directory that holds your interest and then you wait until the link directory has been updated to reflect your particular website. This may take anywhere from a few seconds to a few weeks depending on the particular directory in question, but you do need to make sure that the link directory has the information about your website up there before you go onto the next step.

Once the information is in place, you should then go to the web directory and create two pieces of content. The first piece of content will be a link similar to the one you put on the link directory leading to the same place with whatever content you might think is necessary to make that link interesting. Once you have that in place, you should then add a second page of content to the web directory that links to the part of the link directory where your website is located.

The reason that this is a good idea is that the second link (the one that goes to the link directory) will pick up stragglers that do not end up clicking on the first link, but those same stragglers will partially find their way to your website anyway through the link directory information you made sure was posted before you proceeded to this step. It is a way of leveraging the information you place to get more hits on your website and it is a very innovative tactic that, when used properly, can really win big for your website.

Back Link Strategies Vital To Getting Indexed Faster By Search Engines

The most common concerns for new websites is getting indexed. While it may seem like you have to pull strings with someone on the inside, getting indexed, and quickly, is an easy task if you cover the essentials.

Understanding how search engines find new pages and crawl the internet helps it all make sense. Search engine crawlers walk the internet much we do. It loads a webpage, and then follows all of those links to wherever they go, which is why they are called Search Engine Spiders.

So, it makes sense then, that for the spiders to find your website you need a back link to your website.

It also follows logically that the more back links, the more times search engine spiders encounter back links to your website, the more often they will visit.

Back links are a huge portion of what makes your site valuable to search engine results and gets you higher on the pages. Done right, you can get your website found and into the results pages fast, and get it constantly moving up towards the first page.

Now, how to get those coveted back links is the essential and vital information.

WRITE ARTICLES

Writing articles, like I am doing right now, is a great way to get yourself out there. You need to provide the reader with valuable information. These articles you can submit to some of the many article directories out there for great free exposure.

Here is the neat part, it is also a viral marketing technique as well. Those articles will be out there forever working for you. They get picked up here and there by ezines and sometimes even paper magazines. Websites pick up the articles and give the information you provided for free to their users, giving you great publicity and exposure.

You also get great back links out of this as well. The site, whether an article directory or another website like an informational site, gives you a back link as part of the deal of getting great information for them to use for content.

The only thing writing articles takes is your time, to show your great expertise. Just keep your reader in mind, and you'll be on the right path.

FORUMS

Join quality forums, and put your back link in your signature. This is a subtle advertisement and it is not usually recommended to name your site in a message itself unless it answers a question. When you have a quality message or reply that is the time to post. Don't write on forums to advertise, but to exchange ideas, and the signature link will help itself.

Again, each one of those posts that is indexed by search engines provides you a back link, and another chance to have search engines walk your website as well.

LINK EXCHANGES

Link Exchanges are always a great source of new link partners to get great back links. As always, use link exchanges with caution in relation to who you trade links with. Like-themed websites offer the best gain for linking with. Not every website is one you will want to link with. The main thing is to think of trading with that website in how you really are, the same as you putting the link on your website by hand, and you'll be in the right mindset.

ANCHOR TEXT

This is a topic that needs to be covered. If you are trying to rank well for some keyword phrases, these are the keyword phrases you should be using as your anchor text for back links in the resource box on articles you write, as well as forum signatures, or anywhere else you get a back link if you have a say in it.

The actual anchor or link text itself can make a huge difference to search engines. Variety is the key here. A variety in the anchor text looks much more natural (as if people had chosen to link to you on their own accord, they would choose their own words), so it's always a good idea.

These are just some of the places to acquire great quality back links. A back link is your ticket to both getting indexed fast, but also placing well in the SERPs. As always, building great content is a great strategy as well for webmasters on their own to decide to link to your site to a quality content page.

Link Baiting Is An Awesome Internet Marketing Strategy

Having internet real estate is very exciting and can be an incredible way to create income. Using high leverage internet marketing, and person can make an awesome living while never leaving the comfort of their own bedroom. As the internet becomes more and more competitive, it becomes harder to get traffic. Unique ideas become harder to come by as the web grows.

An extremely effective technique that is used by effective internet marketers is the art of link baiting. Link bait is content that was created with intention of being linked to. The best link bait is linked to thousands and even tens of thousands of times.

Creating link bait really isn't that difficult, it takes a good idea and some good work. There are a few simple techniques that can be used for awesome link bait, and to better help teach the art of link baiting I'm going to cover a few of them for you.

Creating free software and tools is a very effective link baiting technique that the pros have used now for quite some time. In every industry there are tools that people need to use. In the mortgage industry people use mortgage calculators. In the internet marketing industry people use keyword tools and SEO tools. Building tools and letting people use them for free can create a massive amount of links.

Creating list posts is also an exceptionally good technique for link baiting. People love list posts and love to link to them. Some of the best list posts are posts that link back to really good bloggers and professional blogs. People have big egos and will often link back to anything that contains their name. Baiting a big time blogger can result in thousands or tens of thousands of links.

Attacking a big player in your industry will also often prove to be exceptional link bait, especially if you can bait them into responding. Most people like to defend themselves, so many times you can bait a person into linking to your post by attacking them. Some may call it shady, I say it's fine as long as you raise a legitimate question.

Hopefully this helps you to learn the art of link baiting. If you learn this art well, you will have much success on the internet. It's likely that learning to link bait is the most effective strategy that can be used for organic link building out there. Some of the best sites on the net are also some of the best at baiting.
